- The Intent Of These Specifications Is To Solicit Sealed Bids From Qualified Firms To Establish A Contract, Through Competitive Negotiation, To Obtain Fire Extinguisher Inspection Services To Include Annual Inspection And Recharge Of Portable Fire Extinguishers, On Site Fire Hydrants, School Buses, Area District Departments And All Schools District Wide For The Savannah/chatham Board Of Public Education. All Inspections Must Be Conducted Under The Guide Of Nfpa 10 Code For Portable Fire Extinguishers. Services/goods Will Be Provided On An As Needed Basis. The Resulting Contract Will Be Primarily Used By And Administered By The Operations Department Of The Savannah Chatham County Public School System, As Assigned By The Savannah Chatham County Public School System (sccpss) Or Its Representative In Relation To Fire Extinguisher Inspection Services On An ¿as Needed¿ Basis As Detailed In The Specifications In Attachment A.
