Bids For The Construction Of A New Fire Training Facility-Fire Tower, Will Be Received By The City Of Laurinburg At The Office Of The Administrative Services Director, City Hall, 303 W. Church Street, Room 244, Laurinburg, Nc, Until 5:00 P.M. Local Time On Tuesday, September 10, 2024. After This Deadline, Bids Will Be Evaluated And Contract Awarded To The Lowest, Responsive, Responsible Bidder, Taking Into Consideration Quality, Performance, And Time Specified In Proposals For The Performance Of The Contract. This Project Will Be Funded Primarily By The State Of North Carolina, Session Law (S.L.) 2023-134. The Project Consists Of The Construction Of A Fire Training Facility-Fire Tower On Property Near Public Works On Hall Street In Laurinburg, Nc. The Facility Will Be Constructed Of Steel Storage Containers Assembled As Shown On The Construction Drawings. The Work Will Include But Not Limited To All Erection, Assembly, Shop And Field Fabrication, Welding, Reinforced Concrete Foundations And Slabs, Stairs, Platforms, Handrails And Other Miscellaneous Structural Steel Accessories As Shown On The Construction Drawings. The Owner Will Provide All Of The Storage Containers And Five (5) Windows With Frames On The Proposed Construction Site. The Windows And Frames Will Require Additional Field Fabrication In Order To Make Them Weather Tight With The Installation Into The Storage Containers. Bids Will Be Received For A Single Prime Contract. Bids Can Be Submitted Via Email To Hhaywood@Laurinburg.Org Or Online Through The CityâS Bid Submittal Portal At Https://Www.Laurinburg.Org/Business/#Purchasing-Rfps. Bidders Must Complete The Vendor Registration Process To Login And Obtain Copies Of The Bid Documents/Drawings Via A Downloadable Link And/Or To Submit A Bid Proposal.
