The Minneapolis VA Healthcare System Blood Bank Laboratory, 1 Veterans Drive, Minneapolis Minnesota, 55417, here in after referred to as the MVAHCS, has a need for seven Blood Bank centrifuges, which will be used to support the unique needs of Blood Bank. Various testing such as cell washing, ABO/Rh typing, antibody screens, antibody identifications, DATs and cross matching is performed with these centrifuges.
Required capabilities:
Maximum capacity of centrifuging 12 tubes, simultaneously
Buckets must hold 10x75mm tubes
Maximum RPM of 6,000
Maximum RCF of 4,146
Power requirements of 115 V
Dimensions not to exceed 9.5” H x 13” W x 15.75” D
Programmable presets available
60° swing-out rotor
Warranty:
A five-year manufacturer-s warranty at no extra charge to MVAHCS is to be included in purchase.
Delivery and Installation:
All new equipment will be shipped within 30 days of receipt of award. The contractor will make arrangements with MVAHCS for delivery and installations of equipment. The MVAHCS requests delivery terms of: FOB DESTINATION for all shipments, deliveries, installations, and training.
