INTENT TO SOLE SOURCEThe Department of Veterans Affairs, VHA Regional Procurement Office Central, Network Contracting Office 10, intends to enter into a sole source procurement for blood, blood products, and reference laboratory testing for the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R Street, Detroit, MI 48201. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price, 5-year IDIQ contract to The American National Red Cross, 431 18th Street, Washington, DC 20006. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621991 Blood and Organ Banks, and the Business Size Standard is $40.0M.This procurement is for various blood, blood products and specialized reference laboratory testing services for the veteran patients at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center. The products and services provided will vary based upon orders specified by the clinicians.
