2 Boat Hauls, Boat Motors and Boat Trailers is required, Optional Boat Haul, Optional Boat Motor and Optional Boat Trailer is subject to availability of funds.1) This Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for 3 Boat, Motor & Trailer in accordance with the attached solicitation. 2) The solicitation number is 140G0225Q0036 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). 3) The award for this requirement shall be made using the policies in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award prescribed in FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, as appropriate for this acquisition. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. The quote with the lowest price will be reviewed first and if that quote is found to be technically unacceptable, the next lowest quote will be reviewed and etc. To be considered technically acceptable, offeror shall provide technical brochures or specifications, complete configuration to include quantity, part numbers, and descriptions, per line item as specified in this buy. 4) This solicitation is a SET ASIDE for Small Businesses. The associated NAICS Code is 336612 Boat Building.5) All requirements for preparation, submission, and receipt of quotes are contained in this solicitation and shall be adhered to. 6) All questions and quote must be emailed to the Contracting Specialist, Janice Moye at jmoye@usgs.gov.
