Description
SPECIAL NOTICE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, 1500 Weiss St., Saginaw, Michigan, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Boiler Maintenance Services. NAICS Code 238220, size standard $19 Million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Dean Boiler Inc. (18243 3 Mile Rd. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49544), for this procurement due to the specialized nature of this procurement. The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, necessary to service the Boiler Maintenance Services located at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, 1500 Weiss St., Saginaw, Michigan, for the period of March 31, 2025 March 30, 2026, in strict accordance with the statement of work, all schedules, and terms and conditions of the resultant contract. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT12:00pm Eastern on 2/10/25.
