The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed items as part of a larger construction contract to be executed on Fort Wainwright AFB, Alaska. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific items listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(c), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Application for brand name descriptions.”

Siemens Desigo BACnet Automated Building Management System - All buildings onFort Wainwright are required to be connected to this head end and to have Building Automation Systems(BAS) which provide full communication and functionality. With a Siemens system in the individualfacilities, operators are able to operate and program the Building Automation Systems from the centrallocation. During emergencies it is necessary to make such programming changes to shut down buildingsystems or keep a building operational.
Monaco MAAP-X and associated devices - Must seamlessly report to the central Monaco fire alarm receiving station.
Federal Signal Transceiver - The building mass notification systems (BMNS) isrequired to interface with the Fort Wainwright Federal Signal Remote Mass Notification ACU-s unit foremergency broadcasts in all facilities on Fort Wainwright. Ft Wainwright has standardized the systems onthe installation, requiring that all new construction specify installation of only Federal Signal MassNotification Panel.
