INVITATION TO BID Rafiki Coalition/Brandy Moore House will accept sealed bids for an elevator project contract to modernize and upgrade our Hydraulic Passenger Elevator located at 1761 Turk Street, San Francisco, CA 94115. Bidder's attention is directed to requirements relating to HUD, Federal and State Labor Standards, and federal Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity requirements. Rights are reserved to reject any or all bids. Description of Scope of Work - To Modernize our hydraulic elevator by replacing the following equipment: • Controller - Furnish and install a new, non-proprietary and universally serviceable microprocessor based solid state selective collective control system. This system pro-vides smooth acceleration and deceleration of the car. Provide an associated, non-proprietary Drive for optimum motor control. The new system will contain all Fire Re-call Features and Door Lock Monitoring as required by code. • Landing Unit - Furnish and install a leveling system. This system will eliminate level-ing issues and the elevator inadvertently skipping floors. This control box is attached directly to the top of the elevator. • Car Operating Panel (COP) - Furnish and install new car operating panel. COP will include a series of push buttons numbered to correspond to the landings served. The panel will have an emergency stop switch, alarm button, fan and light switch, inde-pendent switch, emergency light, emergency phone and braille markings. COP will al-so have an L.E.D. digital position indicator. • Hall Fixtures - Furnish and install new hall fixtures at all landings. Hall fixtures will have an up and down button at intermediate landings and a single button at the ter-minal landings. The Lobby landing will have a key switch for fire service operation.
