Remove existing roofing system at building 51 and provide a new asphalt shingle roof system including some wood plank deck replacement, new self-adhering underlayment, new asphalt roof shingles, evaporative cooler duct removal and new duct work, removal of existing metal evaporative cooler stands including concrete footings and sidewalk below and installation of new steel evaporative cooler stands including concrete footings. Provide a six-nail pattern at each shingle installation. Install in accordance with roofing manufacturers details required to meet manufacturer-s 30-year roof warranty 120 mph wind speed coverage. Building 51 is a historical building and the Cultural Resource Manager approval coordinated through the Contracting Officer-s Representative (COR) is required for all new materials and paint colors. The Contractor shall provide all work, labor, materials, related fees, and related services for construction requested herein until completion and acceptance of the entire work, except for any completed unit of work which may have been accepted under the contract, by the Government in a professional and collaborative environment to sustain mission requirements. Construction services and finished products shall be delivered on schedule, safely, and compliant with regulatory codes and standards.
The tentative date for the issuance of the solicitation is 25 July 2025. The tentative date for the pre-bid conference is 6 August 2025 @ 0900 MDT, and the location will be stated in the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference. All questions from the pre-bid conference must be submitted by 13 August 2025 @ 1200 MDT via email to Jakeb.I.James.civ@army.mil.
