Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify entities in the Washington DC area that have the resources and capabilities to provide Bulk Laundry Services for the Washington DC VA Medical Center.Description of Work Contractor will provide all resources necessary to perform the bulk laundry services for the DC VAMC. Laundry services include washing, drying, ironing, folding, bundling; DC VAMC-owned items to be laundered include hospital bed linens, tablecloths, towels, laundry bags, gowns, lab coats, scrub tops & bottoms, bibs, curtains, mops, lift slings. Estimated annual volume of items to be laundered is 540,000 pounds. Contractor will be responsible for laundry pickup at and delivery to the DC VAMC. Technical Qualifications Contractor must have (own/operate) the necessary technical equipment and facilities to perform the bulk laundry services in accordance with industry standards. Interested & Capable Responses NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities and qualifications necessary to provide these services.
