Bulk Magnesium
UT-Battelle, LLC (the Company), is the Management & Operations contractor for the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) located in Oak Ridge, TN. In support of a Department of Energy (DOE) funded project, the Company is seeking magnesium based on the below specifications. Requirement Specifications• 99.95% Pure Magnesium per ASTM B92M-89, Grade 9995A• 8 KG ingot• Quantity requested 1200 pounds
Size dimensions are based on a common unit in the commercial marketplace that will fit our allotted space to meet some of the minimum requirements needed. Suppliers must be able to meet the minimum requirements or to provide a functional equivalent. Any unit exceeding the size dimensions will be evaluated to see if it is technically acceptable.
