- The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) commonly referred to as Metro, is seeking proposals to provide bus stop pole and sign fabrication, removal, and installation services at 3,177 bus stops throughout Metros service area, which includes Hamilton County and parts of the surrounding areas (Warren, Butler, and Clermont counties, respectively). As bus stops are the first contact many transit users have with the system, it is critical that bus stops are uniform in appearance, clean, safe, and attractive. The purpose of this project is to fabricate and install bus stop poles and signs at all current Metro bus stops. The selected vendor shall fabricate and install the new bus stop signs and poles at all bus stops, as well as remove and responsibly dispose of the old existing poles and signs.
