Description:
This NOTICE OF INTENT is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204(DFARS) 219.502-2(1). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Indian Head, Maryland, Contracts Department, Code 02 intends to award a competitive task order for a fire protection service pipe project at BXXX, Indian Head, MD. This project will consist of covering exterior FPS piping lines to protect the lines from freezing. The proposed task order will be competed with Basic Order Agreement holders that received an agreement for the Fire Alarm & Fire Protection BOA (N0017424G0004) solicited on 07/25/2024. These small business contractors successfully demonstrated their capabilities and experience to be able to compete for this type of work.
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued as a competitive small business set-aside basis under the authority at DFARS 219.502-2(1). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government may will consider all responses received to this notice for potential future opportunities. Responses must be received within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
