BXXX Renovations

This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 206.302-1(d). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Indian Head, Maryland, Contracts Department, Code 02 intends to award a sole-source contract for the renovation of BXXX for motor casings production. The proposed contract will only be negotiated with X-Bow Launch Systems INC (CAGE 7PUY4), 6200 Uptown BLVD NE Suite 200, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87110-4142. X-Box Launch Systems INC successfully completed the prototype project which was awarded using competitive procedures, they remain the qualified contractor capable of delivering the renovation requirements in a timely manner due to the sensitive nature of the required end product.

THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 USC 4022(f). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. Responses must be received within 5 business days after date or publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract.

This requirement is being conducted under Classification Code Z2EZ and NAICS Code 236210.
