Description
The United States Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), PEO Training Directorate (AFLCMC/WN), Simulators Division (AFLCMC/WNS), Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio intends to negotiate a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin (LM) Rotary and Mission Systems, CAGE 16331, located at 100 Global Innovation CIR, Orlando, Florida 32825-5003 for production and modifications under a 10-year, 5-year base/5-year option, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The IDIQ will include production and delivery of various ATDs and MTDs for C-130J devices/systems/instructions to locations around the world.
This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVEPROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all response received within 15 calendars days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
All responses should be received no later than 4:00 PM EST, 24 April 2025. Responses should be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word format or Portable Document Format (PDF) to the following e-mail address: kyle.patko@us.af.mil. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
