THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RESPONDING TO THIS PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS.
This pre-solicitation notice is being issued by AFSC/PZAAB, Hill AFB, UT 84056, ahead of an anticipated solicitation.
On or about 10 March 2025 the government intends to post a solicitation at SAM.gov for the remanufacture of the C-5 Landing Gear Right Angle Gearbox (Left Hand P/N: 49001-001, NSN: 1620-01-160-6348 and Right Hand P/N: 49002-001, NSN: 1620-01-160-6351) in accordance with Technical Order 4S2-70-3.
In order to be eligible for award the offeror must be an approved source. The Government anticipates a negotiated award of a single firm fixed price supply type contract to Sargent Aerospace & Defense LLC (CAGE: 78062) as the sole owner of the data necessary to remanufacture the C-5 Landing Gear Right Angle Gearbox.
The solicitation will be posted under proposed solicitation number FA8203-25-R-0004. An award is anticipated on or about 30 April 2025.
