Description:
The project consists of the rehabilitation of the Radioville sanitary sewer system (SSS) which service the Vista Azul and Radioville communities located in the Hato Abajo Ward in the municipality of Arecibo. The Radioville SSS has an eight-inch diameter lateral pipe and a 21-inch diameter trunk sewer located at Atlántico Avenue close to the coastline. This project aims to improve the Radioville SSS and protect it from coastal wave damage by installing a new system through a low traffic road to redirect discharges away from the coastline. All work will be performed in accordance with specifications and compliance with PRASA design standards and regulations. This project will benefit approximately 156 families in the municipality of Arecibo.The project will be financed with funds from the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA) and by a loan and/or grant made or insured by the Environmental Protection Agency (Clean Water State Revolving Fund Program) acting through the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources.CONTACT: For additional information regarding the meeting place, please contact Eng.
