Description:
Description : Contractor shall provide all expertise, labor, tools, equipment, traffic control, personnel safety gear and safety training and incidentals necessary to on-call perform felling, tree pruning, skirting, chipping, tree removal and disposal costs. Contractor shall employee a full-time Arborist certified by the Western Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (WC-ISA).Tree species: Coast Live Oak, California Bay Laurel, Monterey Pine, Coast Redwood, Tan Oak or other species. Chainsaws will be used to fell or trim identified trees, and a chipper will be used to chip branches and small logs. The largest DBH is approximately 36 inches to 48 inches.Contractor shall be responsible for proper and legal disposal of all debris generated by tree operations complete and in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore and such addenda thereto as may be issued prior to bid opening date.Licenses: C-27 Landscaping Contractor; C-61/D-49 Tree Service LicenseContract Term: 18 monthsThe Department of Park and Recreation is seeking qualified bids to provide hazard tree services for various location throughout the Monterey District in Monterey County, CA.
