Description : The Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking bids from qualified vendors for On-Call Palm Tree pruning services at the Hearst San Simeon State Historical Monument, Hearst Castle in San Simeon CA. Service shall be conducted at the Hearst San Simeon State Historical Monument Hilltop at 750 Hearst Castle Road, San Simeon, CA 93452. Bids will be accepted via mail and e-mail until April 18th, 2025, at 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST) at which time they will be publicly opened. A fillable excel sheet of the bid forms has been attached for the convenience of the bidder. Questions regarding this solicitation and job scope related questions shall be submitted to the DPR Bids SLO Coast District email at DPR.BidsSLOCoastDistrict@parks.ca.gov by April16th, 2025, no later than 2:00PM PST. Questions shall be addressed through an addendum attached to this solicitation advertisement.Note: A job walk thru shall be required. Contractors shall meet with the state parks representatives at the Hearst San Simeon Historical Monument Visitor Center at 750 Hearst Castle Road, San Simeon, CA 93452 on 09/14/2025 at 8:00 a.m. PST. It is imperative bidders are not late for the job walk since DPR representatives and bidders shall be transported to the Hilltop to the job site.
