4.0 Synopsis
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SSN) announcement. SSNs are issued to assist the Agency in performing market research to determine industry interest and capability. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. Therefore, no proposals are being requested or accepted in response to this SSN.
5.0 Purpose
In accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, SSP is conducting market research to determine if sources are capable of successfully performing the requirements identified in this SSN. Specifically, SSP is seeking capable firms of providing for the disposal of Trident I (C4) or Trident II (D5) First, Second, and Third Stage motors in support of the Trident Missile Program. SSP is seeking concise capability statements (restricted to no more than five 8.5 X 11 inch pages, in a font no smaller than 10 point) which identify the vendor’s current capabilities to perform/execute the requirements identified in Section 8.0. Potential sources must have a security clearance, and have demonstrated capability to provide support to the disposal operations at the Utah Test and Training Range located on Hill Air Force Base.
This contract would be an IDIQ contract, estimated to be five years. CLINs would be CPFF and FFP.
