Description:
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for Category 6 UTP ethernet compliant cabling and 6-strand fiber materials and installation upgrade for fifteen (15) District sites. Tucson Unified School District has dramatically increased network traffic with the addition of a student 1-to-1 program that provides a mobile device for each student, as well as for each teacher and administrator. This project will support the expansion of current and future network traffic through installation of single-mode fiber, and OAP equipment. A purchase order will be issued to the awarded vendor as soon as funding is available, no later than July 1, 2025. In addition, the District reserves the right to limit or modify the scope of work based on budgetary limitations unrelated to E-Rate.
