Description : 1.4 Project Opportunity The Project is located on Route 24 in the City of Orinda and Berkeley from Post Mile R5.8/R6.2 in Alameda County to Post Mile R0.0/R0.6 in Contra Costa County.The project proposes to rehabilitate the Caldecott Tunnel Bores No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3. The project would preserve the structural integrity of the tunnels, improve ventilation performance and firefighting operational response, and extend the service life of the tunnels.
