Description:
The City of Caldwell, Idaho, is requesting that interested firms submit their qualifications to provide engineering services for Caldwell Executive Airport. Projects completed by the successful consultant team are anticipated to be funded in part by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Idaho Transportation Department Division of Aeronautics, and the City of Caldwell. The selection process is intended to comply with FAA Advisory Circular, AC 150/1500-14D, \"Architectural, Engineering, and Planning Consultant Services for Airport Grant Projects.\" The City of Caldwell will retain the services of an engineering consultant for up to five (5) years to provide professional engineering, surveying, planning, environmental studies, testing, FAA grant preparation and administration assistance, and construction inspection for types of projects that may include, but will not be limited to the following projects (or project components):1. Runway, taxiway, taxi lane, and apron construction, reconstruction, and rehabilitation2. Pavement Maintenance3. Airport access road construction and utilities4. Lighting, signing, and NAVAID upgrades5. Hangar Development Layout6. Perimeter Fencing and Access Gates7. Environmental Documentation and Studies8. Incidental Airfield Planning Related Work
