This is not a Request for Quote. This is a Sources Sought NoticeThis announcement is issued for market research purposes to identify vendors capable of providing preventative maintenance services for the Department of the Interior's (DOI) Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) System at the Stewart Lee Udall Building in Washington, DC commonly known as the Main Interior Building (MIB). A detailed description of the building and the required services are provided in the attached Statement of Work (Attachment A). The Government encourages interested vendors to submit feedback to assist in finalizing the acquisition strategy. Responses to this request for information will not constitute responses to any request for quote, which is not currently available. No request for quote currently exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the request for quote. The decision to solicit for a contract will be solely at the Government's discretion. This request for information is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any government assessments. The Government's evaluation of the capability statement received may factor into whether any forthcoming request for quote will be conducted as a small business set-aside (or further socioeconomic subset), full and open competition, or sole-source procurement. Also, please note that a similar announcement is being made on the General Services Administration's (GSA) eBuy website, as a final acquisition strategy has not been determined.
