Description:
Volusia County-s Office of Recovery and Resiliency (ORR) is seeking statements of qualifications for this project to develop a citywide stormwater Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) model using Stormwise (formerly ICPR 4), evaluate potential flooding risks (current and future), and develop conceptual flood mitigation solutions for the City of Daytona Beach (City). This project is intended to aid in the recovery of Volusia County from the damage suffered from Hurricane Ian in September 2022 and this project is funded by a U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) Community Development Block Grant for Disaster Recovery (“CDBG-DR”). The model shall become the property of the City when complete. Training for City staff shall be provided as part of the scope of services.
