- The City of Sierra Vista is requesting bids from qualified Contractors for Project Title, Project ID to be received no later than February 19, 2025, at 9:59 AM Local AZ Time. All bids received after bid response deadline will not be accepted. ***This is a continuation of Project # 2025-IFB-020-GR247, that closed in error on Friday, January 31, 2025, with no bid submissions. Contractors intending on bidding are asked to bid in the Re-Bid Invitation For Bid Project #2025-IFB-026-GR247. ***Made available by the community development block grant (CDGB) funding program, the City of Sierra Vista, in cooperation with Liberty Utilities, is seeking contractors to furnish and install fire hydrants in the Montebello Subdivision in Sierra Vista AZ.Montebello subdivision is generally bounded by State Route (SR) 90 and Charleston Road and Colombo Avenue and Guilio Cesare Avenue. The scope of this project is to install as many hydrants as possible provided the budget. Please reference the project plans for specific hydrant locations.The City is requesting the following: acquisition and installation of new, dry barrel hydrants, couplings, mainline, relevant fittings, gate valves, and all appurtenances relevant to the normal operation of fire hydrants. The scope of work for this shall include all asphaltic/cementitious concrete sawcut, removal, tack coat, and replacement; all trenching, shading, backfill, and compaction; and all relevant labor/miscellaneous materials required for the installation of these hydrants and restoration of the existing infrastructure.It shall be the Contractors responsibility to complete the work specified herewith and supply any incidental services or accessories necessary to make the work complete and perfect in all respects and ready for operation.
