ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSTOWN OF ESSEX, VERMONT CENTER ROAD FORCEMAIN REPLACEMENT AND HERITAGE ESTATES PUMP STATION UPGRADECONTRACT NO. 1General NoticeThe Town of Essex (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Center Road Forcemain Replacement and Heritage Estates Pump Station Upgrade, Contract No. 1. Bids will be received by the Town of Essex via email until 1:00 PM local time on Thursday, February 13th, 2025. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids shall be submitted to all of the following addresses:amartin@essex.org; acostandi@essex.org; jbooth@aeengineers.com; aarsenault@aeengineers.com; don.haddox@vermont.govBids received electronically past the bid due date and time will be considered late and thus will not be included in the bid tabulation. Bidders are required to confirm receipt once a bid has been submitted. A bid tabulation will be released to all bidders within 5 business days.The Project includes the following Work:Upgrades to the Heritage Estates Pump Station, installation by directional bore of approximately 1,940LF of 10” HDPE sewer forcemain along Center Road, 55 LF of 8” PVC forcemain in a 24” steel sleeve crossing under Center Road, and approximately 410- of 8” PVC sewer forcemain installed via open trenching.
