MACKINAW Special Equipment Annual Maintenance Requirements
(Also known as Yellow Gear or Heavy Equipment)

1. SCOPE OF SERVICES:

Intent. The Coast Guard proposes to enter into an agreement with a contractor to provide all parts and labor for maintenance on the equipment detailed in paragraph 1.3 Equipment. The contractor shall leave behind 1 gallon of each type of fluid in an approved container with MSDS to facilitate top offs throughout the year (grease excluded). The location where maintenance is expected to be performed is 632 Coast Guard Drive Cheboygan Mi.49721 (no exceptions). All work shall be completed IAW the manufacturer-s maintenance manual or technical publications as applicable.
Period of Performance: This work is to be completed between 07 July 2025 and 22 August 2025. The exact window will be coordinated upon award. Vendor will have access to the facility from 0700 to 1900 Monday - Friday. Access outside those hours can be coordinated with the POC, Francis Reynolds as long as four hour notice is provided for hours outside 0700-1900 and 24 hour notice for weekends and holidays.

This agreement consists of furnishing and disposing of all materials, equipment, labor supervision, and transportation necessary for the successful completion of the work area as shown at locations listed and described herein. All hazardous materials are to be disposed of in accordance with all state, local, and federal regulations.

1.4. Inspection Details. The contractor shall perform the following tasks:

A. SHUTTLE LIFT 7750 CRANE, at each service:
1. Inspect wire rope and sheaves.
2. Apply grease to all lubrication fittings.
3. Inspect the engine fan belts.
