Reefer Plant Groom Statement of Work

Background. Complete a groom of the Ship-s Refrigeration Plant to replace/rebuild worn components, complete preventative maintenance, and ensure system integrity. Scope.: Complete a groom of the Ship-s Refrigeration Plant to replace/rebuild worn components, complete preventative maintenance, and ensure system integrity in accordance with the following references: A and B. Test Operate NR2 skid verifying operation of heater, compressor, compressor stage loading, function of pressure switches and gauges. Prior to securing unit, draw lube oil samples from each unit to send for analysis. Test function of all heaters on Evaporators, Evaporator Drip Pans, and Drain Lines. Rebuild or replace valves in the system from the GFP list. In addition, contractor will replace dehydrator cartridges, sight glass moisture indicators, and oil filters. The Oil Cooler and Refrigerant Condenser end bells will be removed and tubes checked for clogs. Clean Evaporator Y-Strainer and renew gasket. Once all parts are rebuilt or replaced, system will be pressurized with nitrogen to check for/fix any leaks. Once all leaks are fixed, all insulation on manifold boards need to be replaced. System will be refilled with oil. SF will pull each unit into vacuum less than 500 microns, break vacuum with refrigerant vapor, and charge each skid with 107 lbs R-134a. Ensure proper superheat on all Evaporators. Each compressor shall be run for a minimum of 24 hours for test op and then oil samples sent for analysis.
