STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
FOR
USCGC VISE Isotta Fraschini MDE Diagnosis

USCGC VISE-s Main Diesel Engine is exhibiting metallic tapping while running and has an immediate need for technical support for tasks outlined in this Statement of Work (SOW).

1.0 GENERAL

Background The 75- WLIC asset, USCGC VISE, has a metallic tapping on their MDE that is consistent with RPM.

Scope The scope of this contract is defined by the efforts and tools required to support USCGC VISE (WLIC 75305). The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and tools necessary to diagnose where/what is causing the metallic sound.

OBJECTIVE The goal is to return CGC VISE-s fire alarm system to designed system parameters by identifying the cause of the metallic tapping and repairing.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS/TASKSUnless otherwise stated, this contract applies to on-site support for USCGC VISE (WLIC 75305) in St. Petersburg FL.

2.1 Troubleshoot, Diagnose, Repair
The Contractor shall perform any inspections or evaluations, as deemed necessary, to determine best path forward prior to commencing work.

The Contractor shall identify the source of the metallic tapping. The Contractor shall make necessary repairs to resolve the unusual metallic noise and prevent any damage caused by the faulty component.

2.2 Test Thoroughly and Document
The Contractor shall ensure the system is fully functional by preforming a system operational test to be witnessed by Engineer Petty Officer (EPO) or the EPO-s designated representative.
