The U.S. Embassy has a requirement for a firm to replace window glazing and refurbish select aluminum window frames and hardware at the U.S. Embassy chancery building in Copenhagen, Denmark. The building, completed in 1954, is inscribed on the Bureau of Overseas Building-s List of Significant Properties, as an example of postwar Modernism and the U.S. Department of State-s use of the architectural style as a symbol of American societal values of openness and democratic exchange. The glazing, over 70 years old, has reached the end of its service life and must be replaced while retaining the original frames. Due to the historic character of the building, this scope aims to take a restoration approach, and the original aluminum frames must remain in place during the glazing replacement.

The U.S. Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivey, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.
