This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the US Embassy Male' intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Urban Car Solutions Male-, Maldives.
The U.S. Embassy requires the services of a driving company who possesses drivers with exceptional driving skills, extensive knowledge of local routes, and the ability to ensure the safety and security of the COM at all times. The company-s driver must also have undergone rigorous background checks and complete armored vehicle and Smith driver training.The requirement is for the following services for the Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) of the COM at the US Embassy Maldives for a base period as follows:
CLIN 0001:Description: 9 month duration, LAV Chauffer Services for CoM at the US Embassy Maldives, Quantity: 1Period of Performance: May 02, 2025 - February 1, 2026 (9 months)
The Government intends to negotiate solely with Urban Car Solutions. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), only one source capable of meeting the Government-s requirement. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, which allows for sole source procurement when only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable NAICS Code is 4853
This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties must clearly show the firm-s ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided.
