The City of Newport News (the “City” or \"Owner\") is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City-s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement (https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva), to be received no later than Proposal Submission Date at Proposal Submission Time (local prevailing time).The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor for the provision of all Work and Materials for the installation of about 900 feet of a stormwater pipe system, including a jack & bore under the CSX railroad tracks, in accordance with the specifications of this IFB.NOTE TO BIDDERS: BE SURE TO GIVE YOURSELF ADEQUATE TIME TO SUBMIT A BID.
