This is a Sources Sought notice Only. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only as part of USDA ARS market research and does not itself constitute an RFQ.

Background
The USDA-ARS-PSWRU is seeking a replacement chopper head for their Wintersteiger Cibus S silage forage harvester machine. This unit is an integral part of the corn and other large stem plant data collection process. Without this unit productivity decreases and the quality of their data is compromised.

1.0 Specifications Description:
A two row Kemper style chopper head that will mount to the front of a Wintersteiger Cibus S silage machine
-Must be mounted to the Wintersteiger Cibus S harvester as part of the agreement
-Must be a drum type chopper head similar to the Kemper
-Must have a minimum 1.20 m - 1.25 m working width-Must be hydraulically driven by the Wintersteiger Cibus S harvester

Minimum Requirements: 2 row chopper head mounted to a Wintersteiger Cibus S harvester, Chop corn(maixe) and other stem-like plants for silage have a minimum 1.2 - 1.25 m working width, and be hydraulic driven.
