- Removal and replacement of girders, corbels, and masonry walls within the Church St Tunnel. The tunnel will be closed to typical traffic circulation during construction. The supported slab (tunnel ceiling) will need to be shored to continue carrying live, dead, and construction loads for the full duration of the project. Contractors will be allowed a 12 week closure of the portion of the tunnel within the project limits for shoring activities.
