Proposals Are Being Requested From Qualified Firms With A Strong Record In Successfully Assisting Local Governments And/or Historic Preservation Commissions With A Historic Structure Study Of The Hart County Training School (hcts) Gymnasium Located On Rome Street Between Reynolds And Colfax Streets In Hartwell, Georgia. Responding Firms Should Be Qualified And Experienced To Provide Historic Research, Evaluation, And Planning, Community Engagement, Recommendations, And Cost Estimates. The Responding Firm Must Be Licensed In The State Of Georgia To Provide These Services For Projects Utilizing Federal Funds. The Purpose Of The Project Is To Evaluate The Hcts Gymnasium¿s Condition, Potential Uses, And Community And Economic Viability. The Study Should Include A Physical Assessment Of The Gym, A Historic Structure Report, An Analysis Of Structural And Functional Needs, And A Review Of Future Use Options To Help The City Make Informed Decisions.
