Description:
The City of Tampa (City) is seeking proposals for an Operator(s), to provide a Citywide Micromobility sharing service with the emphasis of first-mile last-mile trip supplementation as part of the City-s Shared Micromobility Program. “Operator” is defined herein as the person or business entity that is in the business of providing and operating a Shared Micromobility vehicle system.The City seeks to better enhance our transit system in a manner that is beneficial to both the users of these vehicles as well as community members in the areas in which they are deployed.The City will select up to 2 total Operators for this program to deploy a total of up to 8,600 vehicles to include 4,300 eBikes AND 4,300 eScooters Citywide across the 9 established program operation zones shown in (EXHIBIT A) “City of Tampa Shared Micromobility Deployment Zones” and the the Operating Agreement for the City of Tampa Shared Micromobility Program ( EXHIBIT C). The Successful Proposers will be required to sign an Agreement with the City of Tampa in the form provided in said Operating Agreement. The Successful Proposers submitting a proposal to this RFP should include an executed Agreement as part of its submittal. Please do not date the first page of the Agreement. Any exceptions taken to the Agreement will be grounds to elimination from further consideration in the RFP evaluation process. Operators will be specifically subject to Tampa Code and Florida State Statute provisions regarding Micromobility as well as any program specific rules administered by the City at its sole discretion.
