THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INVITATION FOR BID.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Detroit District is seeking contractors for Clinton River Maintenance Dredging and Confined Disposal Facility (CDF) Maintenance located in Harrison Township, Michigan. The project work includes, but not limited to, mobilizing dredge to Clinton River, Michigan. Dredging includes the turning basin and federal navigational channel with placement of dredged material to be at the Clinton River CDF. Perform CDF maintenance operations to include vegetation clearing, dike road and ramp rehabilitation, and stone placement. Demobilize once complete.
General Information:
The Government intends to solicit this opportunity as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) as a 100% set-aside for small businesses.
The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract.
A bid bond is required.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 237990 (Exception), Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a small business size standard of $37 million (dredging) in average annual receipts.
Anticipated Solicitation Posting Date: late April 2025
Anticipated Proposal Due Date: May/June 2025
The estimated magnitude of construction is estimated between $1 Million and $5 Million.
The contract is anticipated to have a completion date in October 2025.
