Description
DLA Troop Support is planning an acquisition for the manufacture and delivery of the Club, Self-Protection NSN 8465-01-499-9924.

DLA anticipates issuing a solicitation for a firm-fixed price, fixed quantity contract of 6,900 clubs. Three (3) deliveries of 2,300 clubs are planned to be made to the DLA 3PL facilities located in Pendergrass, Georgia, Austin, Texas, and Lansing, Michigan.

The Self-Protection Club Salient Characteristics:

Commercially available handheld Self Protection Club (Expandable Baton) used for law enforcement with the following design and characteristics.

The baton shall have a positive lock expandable straight baton that uses a push-button mechanism to keep it from collapsing until you need it to.

The baton shall be constructed with an aircraft grade aluminum frame and black polycarbonate shaft. The positive lock system is located on the side on the handle for easy access.

The baton shall have knurled grip and a Black Anodized Finish. Made in the USA.

Product Demonstration Models will be required with proposals and shall be submitted by the closing of the solicitation.
