The Board Of Regents Of The University System Of Georgia (¿bor¿) As ¿owner¿, On Behalf Of The University Of Georgia, ¿user¿ Is Soliciting Statements Of Qualifications From Firms Interested In Providing Construction Management At-risk Services For The Construction Of A Project Known As Project No. Oua-24-058, Health Sciences Campus Parking Expansion At The University Of Georgia, Athens, Georgia. A Project Description Is Provided Below: The Existing Parking Lot On The Uga Health Sciences Campus North Of Pound Hall Currently Has 92 Spaces And Is At Full Capacity For Issued Permits. This Parking Lot Is Deficient In Several Areas. Constructed During The Era When The Naval Supply School Occupied The Campus, The Current Asphalt Area Merges A Road And Parking Lot Without Clear Delineation Of Safe Pedestrian And Vehicular Circulation, Is Inefficient In Its Layout, And Does Not Include Adequate Accessible And Van Accessible Parking Spaces. This Parking Expansion Project Will Correct These Inefficiencies While Increasing The Total Number Of Spaces By 117 For A New Total Count Of 209 Parking Spaces.
