The Economic Development Authority of the City of Newport News (the \"EDA\" or “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City-s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement (https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva), to be received no later than Proposal Submission Date at Proposal Submission Time (local prevailing time).The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to provide operation and management services for a co-working space at 2506 Jefferson Avenue (The Offices @ Two Five & J). This space supports entrepreneurs through the provision of office space and associated amenities, and business education and technical assistance. Located in the Marshall-Ridley Choice Neighborhood, The Offices @ Two Five & J offers affordable office space for small and start-up businesses, as well as those transitioning from home-based operations. In addition to office space, the facility serves as a hub for business assistance services, where entrepreneurs receive technical assistance, mentoring, and networking opportunities. It also provides access to business management workshops and expert guidance on business planning, industry research, financial matters, legal matters, and capital sourcing.
