- Burns & McDonnell is executing an upgrade to the City of Anaheims Southwest Substation. A key component of this upgrade is constructing a new perimeter wall, replacing the existing 8ft-high walls with 15ft-high precast concrete walls. The goal is to improve substations securitywhile implementing an architecturally styled design.The scope of the bid event includes the design, fabrication, and installation of the new precast concrete perimeter wall. The project involves expanding the substation into newly acquired land and extending the substations perimeter in addition to the replacement of the existing wall. New motor-operated gates with integrated access control shall also be installed for access to the site.
