Description
The Air Force intends to solicit the following service:The 76 CMXG is Requesting Services: Contractor shall provide Testing and Evaluation for the following Samples.Fatigue Samples:616 Additively manufactured CoCr LCF samples supplied by the 76th CMXG must be machined (turned, ground and polished) per P01AD003 and tested IAW with ASTM E606 and ASTM E466 to the following test parameters:• Strain Rate = As Specified by customer on a per sample bases (matrix linking serial numbers to strain rates to be supplied at a later date)• Starting Frequency = 0.5Hz; frequency may be increased to 9Hz after 24hrs, and hysteresis loops stabilize.• Temp = Room Temp• Specimen geometry = Per drawings 202320497 (440 samples) and 202320495 (88 samples) and 202320499 (88 samples)Tensile Samples:264 Additively manufactured CoCr tensile samples supplied by the 76th CMXG must be machined (turned and ground) per P01AD003 and tested IAW ASTM E8 with the following test parameters:• Temp = Room Temp• Specimen geometry = Per drawing 202320493• Report UTS, 0.2%YS, %EL (4D) and %RAWaivers may be issued for the grip design on fatigue and tensile samples with prior approval from 76th CMXG/REACT and confirm that it meets the design intent of P01AD003. Specimen threads must be ground to meet the requirements of P01AD003, regardless of drawing allowances. Gauge sections shall meet the requirements of the referenced drawings and the requirements of P01AD003, no exceptions allowed.Special Qualifications: The Contractor shall provide personnel with the following special qualifications:• The Contractor shall provide a PDF that verifies NADCAP certification for the requested testing.• The Contractor shall accomplish all requested work in an ITAR controlled facilityA Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated.Estimated Period of Performance: 12months AROThis is a small business set-aside
