The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to negotiate a noncompetitive, firm-fixed-price purchase order (sole-source) with Comcast Business, 1701 JFK Blvd., Philadelphia, PA, to procure internet and tv services bundle, including commercial internet, static IP addresses, and cable TV box bundles with basic programming package to support a robust and reliable communication infrastructure, particularly for supporting systems like the Lutron Quantum Lighting System and comprehensive Building Automation Systems (BAS) at the Hines Information Technology Center (HITC). These systems demand continuous connectivity and precise control, which can only be achieved through the provision of commercial internet and static IP address lines.
