This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
You are invited to submit a proposal in response to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Headquarters- (HQ) Commercial SmallSat Data Acquisition (CSDA) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract - On-Ramp 2 Request for Proposal (RFP) under solicitation number 80HQTR25R7003.
The CSDA IDIQ contract was awarded in October 2023 as a commercial Multiple-Award contract with a 5-year period of performance and with the ability to issue Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Task Orders. The CSDA IDIQ contract includes an “On-Ramp” feature which allows for the original solicitation (#80HQTR23R0007) to be periodically re-opened to give new vendors the opportunity to propose. On-ramping will also allow existing vendors to propose new data products developed (or data products based on new instruments) that were not available during initial proposal submission. The On-Ramp 1 contract was awarded in September 2024. Only pricing associated with the new data products may be incorporated into the contract. Existing prices will not be revised and will remain in effect for the duration of the contract.
The principal purpose of the CSDA IDIQ contract is to acquire earth observation data and related services from commercial sources for the NASA Science Mission Directorate (SMD), Earth Sciences Division (ESD).
