- Description:
- The City of Tampa (“City”) is seeking proposals from Community Housing Development Organizations (“CHDO”), as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”), for the construction and/or rehabilitation of housing to benefit low-income families. Proposer shall be certified by the City of Tampa, qualified and experienced in the housing construction/development industry and demonstrate experience using federal funds. Successful Proposer will be required to be a qualified CHDO as defined in 24 CFR 92.2. Only those projects in which the CHDO acts as the Sponsor, Owner, or Developer of the affordable housing will be eligible to receive funds from the CHDO set-aside.
