It is the City-s goal to have a well-documented fee structure that is based on a legally defensible methodology for calculating and establishing the City-s rates, charges and fees. The City strives to accurately document the true cost of providing services which will incorporate all direct and indirect costs and will be fully compliant with various statutes, including the Mitigation Fee Act (Govt. Code § 66000 et seq.), Proposition 218, the State Controller-s Office Guidelines for Cost Claiming, OMB Circular A-87 standards, etc.
