Dear Prospective Offeror:The U.S. Embassy in Lilongwe, Malawi is seeking proposals from General Contractors forcomprehensive renovation works at U.S. Government 10/481 including:- Bathrooms repair - refurbishment of the Master, Common and guest bathrooms.- Carpentry - Sanding, smoothing and reapplying Plaster of Paris (POP) finishes on ceilingsin the lounge and Kitchen; replacement of damaged/worn window and door screens onthe Veranda; install of new cabinets in the bathrooms.- Masonry - Removal of existing flooring and installation of new floor tiles in all bedrooms;close off and separate the pantry space from the kitchen; repair the fence.- Electrical - Installation of recessed lightings; replacement of all existing shaver lights;installation of additional power outlets.- Floor tiling.- Replacement of all Air Conditioning Units in the house.- Painting - Paint all the exterior roof surface and underside of the roof overhang.Enclosed is RFP for the work to be completed.
