- The City of Cayce is seeking a qualified consultant to update and expand the existing Local Road Safety Plan to include all required Safe Streets for All (SS4A) action plan City of Cayce, thus enabling the City of Cayce to apply for SS4A implementation grant funding. The Consultant will develop an Action Plan using inclusive and representative processes to pursue a comprehensive approach to advancing equity. This update/expansion will also include any newly identified safety projects, including projects identified during stakeholder outreach.It is the intent of the City of Cayce to enter into an agreement with one consulting company to exclusively provide the professional services as described herein for a one-time service. However, the City of Cayce reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate this RFP process or negotiations with a selected company and begin a new RFP process, or to contract with more than one firm, if needed to perform all of the services. Nothing herein, or in the process, shall be construed as having obligated the City of Cayce to pay for any expenses incurred by respondents to this RFP, or to the selected company prior to City of Cayce Council approval of an Agreement.
