INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20 anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price Construction Contract to Replace Mechanical and Plumbing Systems in Multiple Buildings. This work will take place at the Jonathan M. Wainwright VA Medical Center, 77 Wainwright Drive, Walla Walla, WA 99362. DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, and materials to replace major mechanical and plumbing components and secondary distribution systems such as piping, valves, gauges, and supporting components that have exceeded their useful life. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Proposals received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS Code is 238220 with a size standard of $19 Million. The solicitation is expected to be issued in May of 2025.
